Cardigan

Working on a comfy cardigan for myself. Madelinetosh's Dr. Zhivago's Sky for the yarn. Nothing better than having a cup of tea and knitting away for the evening.

Cannon Beach Getaway

Really wish we could do this more! I love the Oregon Coast.

some of that fall style

All I really want to wear this fall. Oversized coats, warm knits and denim.

Ohhh Lulu Brigette Bra

Well this is the first time I've ever made a bra and undies. I used the Brigette Bra pattern from Ohhh Lulu. But since I'm so impatient and didn't have all my notions (hook and eye closure and bra straps), I ended up cheating a bit and just made a bra without any adjustable straps or a clasp back. It ended up being totally fine, much like all my American Apparel bras, albeit completely unsupportive oops. I was apprehensive about using the size small pattern (normally I'm always buying an L or XL for non cup size bras), but it ended up fitting quite well. I got half a yard of Anna Sui navy stretch lace from Bolt, foldover elastic, and picot edge elastic. For the undies I just traced over a pair of mine. All of this was so easy to sew and so satisfying to finish a project in a short amount of time.

Ouur by Kinfolk

And I could wear this everyday. Well I'm assuming the navy cardigan is worn backwards for editorial purposes. Or maybe there are openings in the front and back, in which case I am so sold.

New Work

Finally getting to sewing some things up. I love this dress (drying by the window at this point). It's a loose-fitting linen dress with short kimono sleeves and a shirt hem. So excited to start putting more things on the shop.
